Evidence, independence, and accountability

Editorial and corrections policy.

LuxuryStyleHub is an independent discovery index. Named brands do not imply affiliation, authorization, endorsement, or a claim that a catalog record is an official brand listing.

This policy explains how product records and guides are selected, what evidence can support a statement, and how readers can request a correction. Last updated September 14, 2026.

Publishing standard

A record should remain useful when a claim is checked.

01

Use a visible evidence trail

A published record keeps its stable ID, SKU, local image previews, category, and source-gallery link so the item can be checked and discussed precisely.

02

Separate fact from observation

Source text and visible labels can support factual fields. Photographs can support neutral observations, but do not establish composition, authenticity, origin, condition, or performance on their own.

03

Leave unsupported fields unresolved

Price, stock, measurements, material, color names, delivery terms, ratings, and reviews are not added unless the relevant record supplies reliable evidence.

04

Preserve stable URLs during corrections

When better information arrives, the record can be updated without changing its canonical address, stable ID, or documented source history.

Names and model codes

Catalog title and source label stay separate.

A reader-friendly product title may summarize visible details, while the exact supplier or source listing label is retained separately on the product page. This separation helps readers and search systems trace a record without presenting a normalized title as an official brand model name.

  1. TitleA concise, readable description of the catalog item.
  2. Source labelThe retained wording from the linked supplier or source record.
  3. IdentifiersSKU and stable ID connect the page, source mapping, and correction trail.
  4. LimitsNames and images alone do not prove official naming, authenticity, price, or stock.

Corrections and updates

Send the exact page and evidence.

Include the page URL, SKU or stable ID, the field that needs review, and a reliable source or clear image. A correction is evaluated against the existing record before the page is updated.

  1. IdentifyProvide the canonical page address and SKU or stable ID.
  2. DocumentDescribe the exact field and attach or link reliable supporting evidence.
  3. ReviewCompare the request with the retained source and local preview record.
  4. UpdateCorrect supported facts while preserving the existing public URL.

Automation and AI

Tools may assist organization, not invent evidence.

Automated tools may help normalize formatting, find missing fields, detect duplicates, or connect related pages. They are not treated as proof of price, inventory, material, authenticity, customer experience, or product performance.

Product naming changes require support from the retained image set or source record. Commercial terms and customer reviews are never generated to make a page appear eligible for a search feature.
